Is Windshield Calibration Necessary?

When Should I Have My Windshield Camera Calibrated?

You should have your windshield calibrated after any of the following:

  • Replacing your windshield (Required by Insurance companies)

  • Seeing a fault code on your dashboard

  • Disconnecting your camera

  • Changing your suspension

  • Changing your tire alignment

  • Deploying your front airbag

  • Vehicle Stability Assist sensor failure.

  • Having repairs done that require the removal of the front-mounted camera.

It is important to have your windshield camera calibrated to ensure that it is functioning correctly. This will help to keep you safe on the road and prevent any potential problems.

To keep your windshield camera in good working order, Clean your windshield regularly. Dirt, dust, and debris can interfere with the camera's ability to function properly.
